As one descends the mountains, there is Mirick, a small picturesque village.

Tiger Hills

Thats beautiful sunrise at 2.30 am on Tiger Hill, one of the highest points in Eastern India. It was biting cold and we drove to the top of the hill just on time. it was pitch dark, when suddenly...like magic, the clouds started melting and the sun became more and more visible. Sun set there is as early as 3.30 pm. Notice clouds under the sun in the snap...a very breath-taking experience.
